"Sgt. Pepper Live" featuring Cheap Trick. This is a dazzling musical experience featuring world-famous rock stars – Cheap Trick –and the Sgt. Pepper Symphony Orchestra performing a live interpretation of one of the most beloved rock albums in history, "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band". This limited engagement began June 11 at the Paris Las Vegas Theatre.

Jim was also technical advisor on the film.

Cheap Trick's Sgt. Pepper Live! Is breathtaking and stunning, especially when the curtain goes up and you see that amazing orchestra and the 6 backup singers.

Cheap Trick - Robin Zander (vocals & guitar), Tom Petersson (bass and vocals) Rick Nielsen (guitar & vocals) and Daxx Nielsen (drums & vocals) - performs the entire album live as well as select Cheap Trick songs that lend themselves to orchestral arrangements.

It was clear that Robin Zander loves singing. He smiled throughout the show and, Robin Zander can sing! There were no backing vocal tracks or tricks that pop singers use today to enhance their live performances.

Does anyone actually sing live anymore?

Last year, Britney Spears came under serious fire with authorities in Australia for not singing live on her Circus tour. Should fans be deceived when buying a ticket for a live show when the performers are not actually singing? Zander sang live!

John Lennon said: "Sgt. Pepper can never be performed live."

He was wrong! Cheap Trick does it and does it better than The Beatles could – they never played it with an orchestra!

Cheap Trick is best known for its classic singles, "I Want You To Want Me" and "Surrender." Cheap Trick recorded the album All Shook Up in 1980 with Sir George Martin and Geoff Emerick, producer and engineer of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

Cheap Trick sang 22 songs and for "Within You Without You" had a 6 member Indian Ensemble featuring Tom Petersson on vocals.

I absolutely loved this show.

Warren Beatty's Daughter Wants a Sex Change! Ah, the Laws of Karma at work! Ain't life grand, fair, and cruel all at the same time!

The National Enquirer is reporting that Warren Beatty and Annette Bening are devastated that their 18 year old daughter, Kathlyn, is attending college as a young man, calling herself Stephen, and planning to get gender-reassignment surgery. (Photo of then 16 year old Kathlyn and Annette)

An insider reveals:

"Warren is beside himself over the situation with his daughter Kathlyn. He and Annette have tried to deal with this over the years when their daughter was younger, but she's determined to go ahead with the transgender operation, just like Chastity [Bono]. She repeatedly told her parents that 'once I turn 18,' she would take matters into her own hands."

And, we assume, pay for the drugs and surgeries herself?

Two years ago Perez Hilton ran a very controversial post about a transgender student at an LA private school. In his "Not So Blind Item" Hilton outed the child of a superstar celebrity couple as transgender. "What teenage daughter of a superstar couple is living life as a transgender boy?" asked Hilton. "Now going by the name Stephen, the teen's parents pulled him out of the prestigious Buckley School in Los Angeles and are having him home-schooled to keep him out of the public eye," stated Hilton.

According to the comments on Hilton's blog, many people identified Stephen as 16-year-old Kathlyn Beatty. In addition, Kathlyn's mother's first husband was named J. Steven White, hence the name Stephen!

Hmmm...I don't know how you read this, but there are many, many problems in the Benning-Beatty household.

Socializing at the IRVA Conference. Right after returning to Las Vegas from the SSE conference, held in Boulder, CO., we had a rather busy social calendar with many friends attending the International Remote Viewing Association conference at Green Valley Ranch. John H. Reed, M.D., M.B.A., M.P.H. (Johns Hopkins University at the Bloomberg School of Public Health and the SSE's long-time Treasurer, pictured with John) spent Tuesday at our house and then we went to dinner.

Wednesday we saw the absolutely terrific "Knight and Day" starring – he's back and fabulous – Tom Cruise. We then met Ronald S. Pandolfi, Ph.D., Director, Afghan Energy Project, Office of the Chief Scientist, CIA, and his wife of two months, beautiful Aliyah Malik Pandolfi and namesake graduate student, Ronnie Pandolfi, at Town Square's California Pizza Kitchen (pictured).

Ron – who knows how these rumors get started? - is widely rumored to be at the core of the CIA's involvement with extraterrestrials.

According to American Chronicle, in a post published in January 2010 called "Ron Pandolfi and the CIA's "Real X-Files" by Gary S. Bekkum, there is "One man, and one man alone [who] appears to occupy the best possible position to probe into the facts, fantasies, and fallacies behind the real-life "X-files" of UFOs, alien visitors, spies, lies, and polygraph tape."

Bekkum continues: "The question remains: are the UFOs from "out there" or is there a more earthly explanation involving the intelligence community and deep black covert military cover stories?"

I have known Ron for many years. He has a sharp wit and dry, amused humor and – this is my compliment – he's a provocateur to the unstable, weak, conspiracy-minded people - and why not! We share the same theories (though I don't know if Ron believes in "burning in hell" like I do) and radical opinions on many UFO topics and individuals who swim in its muddy waters.

I want to be friends with Aliyah, who founded the Al-Kareem Foundation in 2008.

The word "kareem" originates from the Arabic language and means "generous" or "giving."

Al-Kareem Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving people's lives in third-world countries through outreach. Al-Kareem's projects provide basic necessities such as food, clean water, and clothing to families in need. Human/Alien Hybrids Living in Scranton, PA! A confidential source at the recent SSE Conference (it snowed, it rained, it hailed in Boulder) told me that our old friend Dr David Jacobs has leaped into the "Alien Abyss" – beating Peter Gersten! (see last week's column)

Dr David M. Jacobs, Ph.D. (pictured) is an associate professor of history at Temple University and a pioneer in the field of UFO research and the Abduction phenomenon. He is the author of Secret Life, an account of UFO abductions. He lives in suburban Philadelphia.

My confidential informant told me that Jacobs is now saying that the human-alien hybrids are indeed amongst us and abductees take them out late at night to 7/11's teaching them to shop, make change, and even dress – all to fit in. Jacobs also is saying that there is an entire apartment complex in Scranton where the hybrids live.

What about those pesky 7/11 and WalMart security cameras? And let's hope they are not on public assistance.

Jacobs writes in The Hybrids: How To Live Among Humans, that "I was allowed to read what appeared to be an instruction manual for hybrids and possibly other aliens. It contained information relating to what hybrids should wear while they are in the proximity of humans and on Earth. I also tried on an alien shoe that appeared to be constructed using a type of advanced nanotechnology.

"One of the locations the hybrids are using in order to interact with me, and probably other abductees, appears to be empty houses; many of which are still under construction. Abductees also have reported seeing hybrids in places such as empty shopping centers, as well as near-empty office buildings for unusual "job interviews" and occasionally in more public places such as grocery stores. While these reports may seem outrageous to some, it is a logical progression of a certain aspect of the abduction phenomenon.

My God! Aliens are squatters profiting from "foreclosure mayhem"!

"We know that alien-human hybrids have been created and with each new generation, they are becoming more human. If some of them intend to inhabit our planet, their survival will depend on blending in with us: learning how to dress like us, wearing the appropriate clothing and hairstyles, and being able to take care of, and feed themselves in a human dominated environment.

"Common, everyday things we take for granted because we have been taught them since childhood are something they have to learn."

Back in the early 1990s when Ed Dames was telling us not to leave New Mexico because the aliens were about to show themselves (from their underground base), I told Ed we had room to take in two aliens. I would teach them how to dress, wear makeup, and earn a living.

Jacobs continues: "We know there are many different types of aliens interacting with and abducting human beings. What we are not completely certain of, however, is if they are all working together. My personal experiences have shown me that the Greys, the short pudgy Beings, the Reptilian appearing Beings, and to a lesser extent, the Blondes, are all interested in our physiology and they are taking specific types of DNA from us for specific reasons.

"For me personally, I have witnessed all of the above-mentioned Beings taking something such as blood, fluid, cells, etc. and using our biological material to create new life or to help one of their own kind.

"During a rather intimidating encounter with Reptilian appearing Beings [from the constellation Draco, pictured], I was told, very clearly, that they were trying to make us like them; literally trying to transform certain humans into their species. I was also told that they could do it with our permission or they could do it by force, but that they much preferred it when we agreed on our own and were not coerced. The way they phrased it would appear to be the opposite of what we have observed the Greys doing in their hybrid breeding program. Instead of manipulating DNA to create hybrid type Beings, the Reptilians are using some type of technology to change certain humans' physiology into their own. This might be interpreted as the creation of a Reptilian-human hybrid race."

I wonder what the Reptilians think of obese Americans as their DNA co-contributors?

David Jacobs, The Threat. The Secret Agenda: What the Aliens Want, and How They Plan To Get It.

Marcus Samuelsson and Rick Moonen Host Dinner at RM Seafood at Mandalay Bay. Rivals on Bravo's 'Top Chef Masters' teamed up at Moonen's eponymous restaurant, rm Seafood, upstairs at Mandalay Bay, for a benefit on June 23 for Three Square Food Bank, a non-profit organization dedicated to ending hunger in Southern Nevada.

The event kicked-off at 5 p.m. with a cooking demonstration from Samuelsson, with Moonen serving as his sous chef, followed by a reception of hors' d'oeuvres and cocktails. The chefs then teamed up for a five-course dinner showcasing their culinary styles. Each was responsible for alternate courses creating an once-in-a-lifetime meal.

The cooking demonstration was nicely done. Moonen's rm Seafood multi-level restaurant at Mandalay Bay includes a 250-seat casual bistro and sushi bar and an 80-seat intimate fine dining. Dining at rm Seafood is not cheap but Moonen is very, very serious about the quality of his food!

Guests not only had the opportunity to interact with both chefs throughout the event but Samuelsson's cookbook, New American Table and Moonen's Fish Without a Doubt, were available for purchase and book signing. However, the guests were already prepared, carrying both books. All diners were big fans of Top Chef Masters.

Tickets were priced at $125 per person (tax and gratuity not included) and every table was taken. Moonen was the perfect host and is an advocate for Three Square Food Bank. He informed the crowd that he was auctioning off lots of cool things and he was going to make sure everyone spent a lot of money.
