Las Vegas: Satan Vacations Here
by Victoria Alexander
April 24, 2006

Tabú Ultra Lounge, Red Rock Resort , Michael Politz’s Eye On Vegas, Julia Roberts on Broadway, Baby BigFoot , Jeff’s Mishlove’s Blog, May 25th! The End of the World Finally Arrives, and more...

Winston Churchill on the Royal Navy: "Don't talk to me about Naval tradition. It's nothing but rum, sodomy, and the lash."

Tabú Ultra Lounge. On Wednesday night I attended the launch of “it” Industry with “Human Locator” at Tabú Ultra Lounge. Tabú is now offering club goers a mid-week soiree every Wednesday. Three years ago, Tabú introduced an interactive tabletop technology with Reactrix and now with the launch of “it,” replaces the former system with state-of-the-art “Human Locator” technology. “Human Locator,” is a new, layered interactive video technology set up at Tabú’s center tables.

Go check out it every Wednesday from 10 p.m. until dawn at Tabú Ultra Lounge, MGM Grand, 3799 Las Vegas Blvd., South, Las Vegas, Nevada 89109. Admission is $15 for men Tuesday through Thursday and $20 on Friday and Saturday. Ladies are complimentary; Industry locals are complimentary on Wednesday. Call (702) 891-7619 for table reservations or (702) 891-7183 for Tabú’s general information line.

Red Rock Casino Resort Spa. Our newest resort-casino is a few miles away from where I live in the red-rock mountains behind the valley of Las Vegas. The $925-million resort that opened to great fanfare with Sting performing, is a high-class property off-The-Strip consisting of 70 acres. It has a three-acre pool and beach oasis, 87,000-square-foot casino, ten restaurants and lounges, and – really important - a 16-screen movie theater.

It is the most luxurious of the off-The-Strip resorts and a beautifully designed triumph. It is sophisticated and glamorous. The hotel reception is designed like a stark, boutique Manhattan hotel for celebrities. I have no doubt that with the type of grand development going on in North Las Vegas (I understand a huge mall will be going up soon) someday it will be called, like New Delhi, New Las Vegas. www.redrocklasvegas.com

And, if you want to go to the April 26 Industry opening of Red Rock’s Cherry nightclub, just subscribe and then RSVP to Michael Politz’s Eye On Vegas!

Michael Politz’s Eye On Vegas. One of the most savvy and connected men in Las Vegas is entrepreneur Michael Politz, the publisher of Las Vegas Food and Beverage Magazine. (There is also a version online.) It’s where you should go to find out what is happening in Las Vegas and who is doing what within the industry. Michael’s EyeOnVegas has a subscriber link, so sign up! Michael also hosts various invitation-only parties at various high status venues at Las Vegas restaurants and clubs – so get on his list! http://www.lasvegasfoodservice.com/newsletter.shtml.

Julia Roberts Debut on Broadway Savaged. The critics all seem to agree: Julia was terrible. Here are just a few caustic remarks from the New York Post’s theater critic Clvie Barnes’ review of Julia Roberts debut on Broadway in "Three Days of Rain."

“HATED the play. To be sadly honest, even hated her. At least I liked the rain - even if three days of it can seem an eternity.”

“Why, for heaven's sake, did Julia Roberts, film star extraordinary and box-office attraction incredible, decide to make her professional stage debut at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre in last night's half-baked, fully drenched revival of Richard Greenberg's 1997 play, "Three Days of Rain"?”

“In the first act, she looked long-faced, long-nosed and almost ordinary. How come? In her movies, do they use magic cameras on her or something?”

And finally, Barnes sums it all up nicely.

“I understand that it's virtually impossible to buy tickets for the 12-week limited run, although it seems there may be some "premium" seats available at $251.25, which I presume includes tax. Don't feel bad about it if you can't get in. Count your blessings.”

Baby BigFoot or Jolie-Pitt Baby Photos? Which one will be worth more money to People Magazine? The legendary Bigfoot’s baby or the baby more anticipated, according to New York Magazine, than the birth of The Baby Jesus?

When I was in Russia on a paranormal investigative trip, I met many people who claimed to have seen a Bigfoot. Known to live in the Ural Mountains, there were even reports of a bigfoot creature being seen on a Russian military base. (Bigfoot also has romantic assignations with local Russian ladies.) Somewhere buried in our garage in a file cabinet labeled UFOs, I have the details. With digital and video cameras so small, and everyone having a camera cell phone (even Tibetan Buddhist monks in Lhasa), where are the films of UFOs landing and photos of the de-boarding aliens?

Now comes a denied report that Malaysian wildlife officials captured a baby Bigfoot. The Berita Harian newspaper reported that a young Bigfoot was caught by a group of men thought to be from the Wildlife and National Parks Department near the southern town of Kota Tinggi two weeks ago.

The paper quoted local residents as saying they had spoken to men who described shooting the creature with tranquilizer darts. The locals then peeked into the back of their truck to see a large, hairy creature. But the department's director-general Datuk Musa Nordin denied the report. Bigfoot fever erupted last December when some workers claimed to have spotted three of the beasts, two adults and a youngster, on the edge of a Johor forest reserve. Those Malaysian trackers must have taken some photos. Who is their media lawyer?

Jeff’s Blog. Jeff Mishlove, director of the Intuition Network, has begun a blog on zaadz.com. At lunch last week he asked me to send him my nearly 14,000 word opus, MEDIEVAL MYSTICISM AND ITS EMPIRICAL KINSHIP TO AYAHUASCA, for posting on his blog. Why not join Jeff’s blog? It is a fascinating blog and highly enjoyable. And, of course, I know everyone is looking forward to reading my obsession article on the link between medieval saints, mortifications, and ayahuasca! http://jeff.zaadz.com/blog. The Intiution Network’s purpose is to help create a world in which all people feel encouraged to cultivate and use their inner, intuitive resources.

May 25, 2006! The End of the World Finally Arrives! Eric Julien, a former French military air traffic controller and senior airport manager, has completed a study of the comet 73P Schwassmann- Wachmann and declared that a fragment is highly likely to impact the Earth on or around May 25, 2006. Comet Schwassman-Wachmann follows a five-year orbit that crosses the solar system's ecliptic plane. It has followed its five year orbit intact for centuries; but, in 1995, mysteriously fragmented.

According to Julien, this is the same year that a crop circle appeared showing the inner solar system with the Earth missing from its orbit. He argues the "Missing Earth" crop circle was a message from higher intelligences warning humanity of the consequences of its destructive nuclear policies. He links this crop circle to May 25, 2006, and identifies the comet Schwassmann-Wachman as the subject of higher intelligence communications.

Using NASA simulations of the comet's path, Julien concludes that impact is likely around May 25 precisely when the comet crosses the Earth's ecliptic plane. While the first fragment will cross at approximately 10 million miles, lagging fragments threaten to collide. While astronomers have stated that the comet poses no direct threat, Julien argues that some fragments are too small to observe. Astronomers have predicted possible meteor showers indicating some cometary debris will enter the atmosphere.

Julien predicts that the comet collision will occur in the Atlantic Ocean between the Equator and the Tropic of Cancer, and generates 200 meter waves. His article, "May 25, 2006: The Day of Destiny" is available at: http://www.exopoliticsinstitute.org/EricJulien-En.htm.

She’s Still Missing. The 19-year-old man arrested last weekend as a new suspect in the disappearance of Natalee Holloway was first questioned by police in the earliest stages of the investigation almost a year ago, ABC News reported.

Geoffrey van Cromvoirt (pictured) was arrested and is being held as a possible suspect, not a witness, although Natalee’s family insists it was Joran van der Sloot who killed their daughter. After Natalee’s now famous mother, Beth Holloway Twitty, has nailed to a cross both Aruba officials and van der Sloot, she is ignoring the most recent arrest as immaterial to van der Sloot being the one responsible. Beth says he still knows something.

The arrest of someone else comes coincidentally very close to multiple TV appearances by Natalee’s father, Dave Holloway, who has written a book slamming the corrupt investigation, “Aruba: The Tragic Untold Story of Natalee Holloway and Corruption in Paradise” by Dave Holloway, R. Stephanie Good, and Larry Garrison. Have the Aruban police foiled Dave’s book sales? In my opinion, the arrest of GVC makes Dave’s book irrelevant and premature (but he and Beth are still on all the talk shows.)

Parents may have been clueless about Aruba, but I am sure the high school seniors knew that drugs, drinking, and sex were the activities they signed up for.

Glorious Charlotte Rampling. Did you see “Swimming Pool”? Sixty-one year old actress Charlotte Rampling (even with her clothes on more sexy than Sharon Stone in “Basic Instinct 2”) told the London Independent that she believes older actresses should proudly bare it all. "The camera can be unforgiving, much more so than we see ourselves. But it's quite moving to see a woman who was once young and beautiful - you see time turning."

The Gospel of Jesus, behind the reveal. On Saturday I picked up The Secrets of Judas: The Story of the Misunderstood Disciple and His Lost Gospel by James M. Robinson. I was surprised to read Robinson’s first sentence of the Preface. Robinson calls the long-lost Gospel of Judas a “second-century fictional account…”. Robinson, the founding director emeritus of the Institute of Antiquity and Christianity and the former general editor of The Nag Hammadi Library in English makes his position perfectly clear on the first page. If you really want to know what is really going on with The Gospel of Judas, Robinson writes: “For my narration is not expurgated, sanitized, cleaned up to make it an appetizing story. What has gone on in this money-making venture is not a pleasant story…”.
